Ziel ist, WordPress um das Plugin „Yet Another Photoblog“ (YAPB) herum so zu tunen, dass es so ähnlich wie möglich wie flickr funktioniert, das heißt, dass ein in der Form zurückhaltendes Interface entsteht, das drei Ansprüchen genügt: archivieren, betrachten und abrufen von Bildern.

Das strukturelle Prinzip von YAPB

YAPB ist so konzipiert, dass für jedes Bild ein WordPress-Artikel angelegt wird. Alben und Galerien werden durch Kategorien und Subkategorien definiert.

Vorteil

Jedes Bild lässt sich verlinken und kommentieren.

Nachteil

Der Funktionen- und Plugin-Mix, der um YAPB herum gebaut werden muss, um durch die kategorebasierten Galerien zu navigieren, ist erlesen.

Fazit

Wenn es mit NextGen-Gallery möglich wäre, Bilder einer Galerie einzeln anzusprechen und zu kommentieren, wäre da Plugin als Basis einer wordpressbasierten Plattform zur Bildverwaltung und -präsentation sicher vorzuziehen.
